Bar Supervisor

Purpose

To ensure that a quality bar service is provided in line with the standards laid down by management.

About You
Experience preferred but not essential
Pulse requires lively, fun and enthusiastic staff members who will deliver quick efficient and exceptional service at all times.
You understand the requirements of working in an entertainment venue. The hours that you will be required to work - Weekends, late nights, Bank & Seasonal Holidays.

To ensure the bars are prepared for service, fully stocked with liquor, bottled Beverages and glassware.
To ensure all tills are correctly supplied with a float and that these have been signed for and documented correctly.
To ensure all monies received are accurately accounted for and passed onto management for checking
To dispense and serve drinks, food and sundries and receive monies paid in exchange for good sold
To work as a member of your team, providing help and assistance as required.
To adequately induct and train any new staff members, ensuring their levels of competence and accuracy in their designated area.
To maintain a programme of continued staff training.
To ensure that all bar and customer areas are cleaned up after hours in advance of the next operational session.
To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene of all work surfaces, customer areas and equipment at all times.
To ensure that safety precautions and procedures are observed by all staff at all times.
To ensure that the bar has sufficient staff on duty.
Regularly report performance and progress of staff members. Informing management immediately of any misconduct or sub-standard performance.
To refer any serious customer complaints to management should they be beyond your control.
To report any accident, defect or damage to equipment or management immediately.
To maintain an exceptional standard of customer service, cleanliness and personal hygiene at all times.

In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the Bar Supervisor is required to carry out any other duties required by management.
